B&M Ratchet Shifter Problems

my B&M console megashifter is being retarded. ok its kinda like a sticking problem. when you take it out of park you have to slam it down and somehow get it inbetween nuetral and drive and then give it a good wack and it usualy goes into gear. basically it sticks and is verry hard and mostly annoying to use. could this be sometiing in the racheting device that is used or some kind of linkage. and does anyone know how to fix it

I would dissasemble the unit and check for anything out of the ordinary. I could also be bindage in your shifter linkage to the tranny.

you improperly adjusted your shift cable. go back and read the instructions and and correct yourself.

yah i agree about the checking your mounting and adjustments up by the transmission....i have a megashifter and i noticed problems with it not working properly and all i had to do was go back and adjust the tranny adjustments and it was fine.....good luck!
