I did this exact swap in August. Are you using a later model WC T5 and do you have a donor parts car?
Torque arm and driveshaft were the same length '82 to '91 but there were some issues about the shape of the stamping of the tranny end of the torque arm--it's a W shape in cross section and the W reverses in some years.
You do have mechanical clutch linkage--right--and need to switch to hydraulic?

i am using a non-wc tranny from an 85 and i dont have a parts car i bought the parts from a guy that removed his manual cause he was sick of it i have no clutch set up as of now because i am converting from an auto and i was under the impression that the 200c was a shorter trans and that it required a longer driveshaft so i would need a shorter one for the t5 but i guess i was wrong

The torque arm & driveshaft can come from any 83-2002 f-body with T5, T56 or 700.

Alternately, for a driveshaft yours can be shortened 2.92".

Just watch the bushing / torque arm "W" shape as mentioned above.

OK--after you get the tranny mounted you can figure out drive shaft length--I think the one you take out will do.
The seller got tired of shifting, ahh...good. What year car is it out of? Did he give you a bell housing, cross member, pedal assembly and clutch linkage or hydraulic setup?
This will seem like a hassle when you get into it but everyone who's done it is happy with the results and it's not as hard as it seems at first--hang in there.

Excellent--your '85 T5 isn't the strongest tranny but it'll do OK behind a stock 305--is that what you have? If you ever want to upgrade horsepower and tranny strength, the work you do now converting it to stick shift will be time well spent.
Swithing mine from auto to 5 speed changed it from a basic commuter car to a fun to drive pony car--seems the 3rg gen F body was really intended to be stick shift.

um no i dont have a stock 305 i took that out to replace it with a 355. i totally rebuilt the motor and put and edelbrock carb on it with an edelbrock performer eps intake and a compcams xe268h cam and hedman LT headers with a custom true dual so its puttin out a bit more than the stock 305 and i realize ill ahve to baby it but eventually ill try to get a WC t-5 or something stronger than the base t-5

OK--when you get tired of babying it (and oily parts are all over the street!) you'll need to decide between getting someone like jmd to guide you through a T56 swap or take my advice and contact TKOPerformance--the same guy who's writing on threads yesterday and today--about upgrading a WC T5 for about $700 to handle 450 hp/ft. lbs., or spending $1500-$2000 on a G Force T5 or Rockland Standard.
My humble advice, sticking with that nice small block you've built, is to contact TKOPerformance and see if he's got a good rebuilt, reinforced WC T5--he really knows his stuff and will give you a fair price, save you a bunch of money, and you can use the T5 stuff you just bought to install his upgraded tranny.
