Trans stuck in 3rd gear

Someone help! I have a 91 z28 camaro with a T5 and it seems to be stuck in 3rd gear for some reason??? No other gear will engage, I can move the shifter around without the clutch and it sucks!!! Even when the shifter is in teh neutal position it seems to be in 3rd, I cant go in any other gear and it sucks cause i just finished fully porting and gasket matching my intake(which took alot of hours to do). Any suggestions how to fix!???

I was wondering if it could be the pressure plate that isnt engaging which would explain why i can't shift to any other gear, right?

Axle/Gears: stock... whatever that means :)
If you put the shifter in neutral, slide the clutch out, and the car moves, it's definately in a gear. Like 86Z said, might be a broken shift fork. Park the car until you can get someone to look at it. And if it needs to go to a shop, have it towed on a flat bed tow truck.

This guy came by to take a look at the car and said that it's the where the clutch and flywheel are togther that is the problem. It had the clutch changed not that long ago and he says that they probably just threw it on there and that the flywheel is probably all glazed...............what do you'll think?? He says it cant be anything else.

Actually the car does move when it is in neutral, but its not a tranny problem. We took out the tranny and discovered that the bushing that pushes the clutch/flywheel setup was completely melted and wasnt engaging the clutch. We replaced it and re installed the tranny, and what do you know, that was teh problem. Quick and easy fix thank ***!!!!!!
