T-5 clutch return safety spring switch *late*

Alright its really late so I'll be brief. My cruise control did not work due to clutch safety switch not getting any return force from the clutch pedal. Is there a spring to hold the clutch against the switch? Right now i taped the switch, however that isn't idea because when I press the clutch the cruise control doesn't disengauge. I do not have a spring but i see where one would ideally fit. If anyone has a picture that would be ideal or could describe the spring more so I could find one, cause now the clutch pedal has a lot of play before it begins doing its job.
