T-5 Issues
I have a T-5 trans in my 85 Camaro. I have been having previous trany problems but the other day I was shifting from third to fourth gear. When I hit neutral the shifter got really hard to move to the point where I couldn't move it out of the neutral position between third and fourth. So with the clutch to the floor, I then tried to move the shifter to any position. Then after like 30 seconds of trying that, there was a loud bang noise and I could then move the shifter. I put it back into third gear and let the clutch out only to find that I had a new neutral position. I then tried fourth and found that I had two new neutral positions. So I put it back into first and drove home with a 3 speed third gen. 1st, 2nd, ..., ..., 5th.
Does anyone have any idea on what happened here? Also, did I do so much damage that it would be point less to rebuild this trany?

Transmission: T-5 5 speed
Axle/Gears: stock... whatever that means :)
It quite possibly could be a broken 3-4 shift fork. Its time to tear the transmission out and tear it apart to see whats going on.

Yea, I have a ZZ3 350 that pushes 365 lb-ft torque bolted in front of that T5. After I the things I have read I think that may be the reason for the death of that T5.
