9bolt axle shaft ??????????

Is there a differance between 88 disc braked 9bolt axle shafts and 89 pbr braked axle shafts. I have an 89 9bolt with pbr's and my driverside axle shaft is bent. I found some one with an 88 9bolt axle shaft that has the cast iron brakes. Are they differant length's. The 89 9bolt shafts have a pbr brake brakcet as part of the bear stack up, is this the same with the 88 9bolt. Any info would be great as i'm trying to get my daily driver back running.

They are the same. The brakes don't make any difference to the axles.

The 88 will have the Saginaw backing plate, rather than the PBR one. The Saginaw plate will not work with your PBR calipers. Just use your existing backing plates when you put it back together.
