install vette servo problem
i guess i need to know if i didnt install something correctly, i cannot press in the cover enought to put the the metal ring on. now i cant even get the damn cover off with new blue ring on it to check. what am i doing wrong?

It takes a bit of playing with it to get it in or out. If you need some pictures and a walk through there's a tech article on sethirdgen on the install.

you'll need a crowbar on the inside of the tranny tunnel against the cover to get that in, took me 2 days to do it cause I broke all the crossmember bolts and I couldn't get that cover back in.

i found out what the problem was for anyones info, i went to a tranny shop and they gave a wax or grease to put on the seals so they slide easier to the tranny which help out a hellofalot, just so good info, took me 5 minutes to install servo cover with my bare hands.

how do you like the servo??? I love mine it chirps second gear. I LOVE IT!! next is my shift kit. they say when you do the servo swap it always a good idea to do the shift kit too.

i havent tried it out yet, i have more work to do, just installed TES headers, now need y pipe, need to install 4th gen axle, so a month or so away from testing it.
