First question about speedo gears

First off, where can I buy "driven" gears WITH THE SHAFT/STEM peice? I bougth a gear from GM that did NOT have the shaft, and the new TCI sleeve also does not have the shaft.

This is gonna **** me off.

Please help

Engine: 5.0L TBI (ebl inside)
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 lsd 10 bolt
GM has those pieces too. The shaft is the electronic sensor unit and the other gear is available from GM too.

My car has the mechanical speedo. The sensor is in the dash.
I see you have a 91. I beleive that you have an electronic speedo, correct?

If you have the mechanical speedometer, you will need the plastic gear with the plastic shaft (one piece). These are a little different gears than the ones for VSS (with electronic speedometer). What tooth count are you looking for? I can find the part # for ya.

44 tooth.

...I got one from GM for a few bucks, but of course it's the newer style without the stem.

I"ve got a bunch of PN# but I think they're all without the stem.

Thanks for all the help guys.

9780470 grey gear.
Or alternate number could be 25522495.

Make sure they know what they're ordering when you give them the number. It's gotta be an all-plastic gear with shaft.
