I redid alot on the car and finally got it up and running again. My trany temp guage wasnt reading so I thouht it was just cause the wire was touchig something. (always happens) So i drove only about 50 highway miles and came home to find my tranny lines are ice cold. My remote filter (FL1A) is ice cold as well. I'm like SOB. Thought it was the pump, so I undid the fiter and started it up. Fluid did come outbut very slow. I look at dipstick and very little red, so I fill up a quart of III and morefluid came out so I put filter back on. I look again and its ANOTHER quart low. I fill it up and now the lines are hot and the filter is hot. (also reading on the guage too) Car shifts perfect still, but should i worry about those 50 miles wih uncooled fluid? I do have a deep erale cooling pan if that means anything. Would low fluid cause it to send vry little through the lines?
