Alright guys, i blew my 4TH TRANNY! i am getting sick of the 700R4, and i enjoy driving a manual car better anyways...i was planning on doing a LS1/T-56 swap. i am in the process of saving up for the engine and tranny now. I am asking for your guys' opinion. I was thinking about buying a t-56 (and put a LT1 bellhousing on it) now and throwin it on my car now so i can drive it. Or i was wondering if you guys think it'd just be better for me to buy both of them together? anyways, let me know guys....also, i've heard that it is a pain in the *** to get all the gauges to work with the T-56 if i keep all mine stock. So i was wondering what you guys thought about me buyin a wrecked out LS1 4th gen and swapping out the gauges, dash, console, etc to make it work a little better...will that bypass me having to go out and buy the VSS or digital conversion box? all input would be nice.
