longer servo pin
I've seen the longer servo pin to use with a corvette servo on ebay and just wondered if it was worth the money or not. Has anybody installed one of these or know if its worth installing?

All I can say is that I was very pleased with the difference in performance I'm getting now as a result. The car no longer has a 1-2, 2-3 flare up between gears. The transmission just pulls a whole lot better. This is a mod I recommend to EVERY owner of a 700R4.

Yeah, I already have a corvette servo. I was just wondering if it was worth my time and money to put the longer pin in.

Not knowing what benefits are had from the longer pin, I would say screw it.
I've also heard that for stronger shifts you can get a heavier spring that is loaded between the servos and the cap cover. There has to be a name for it. Regardless, I'm good with the way mine is now.

From what I understand, the longer pin is supposed to increase the spring tension so the shifts are quicker than what the standard pin gives you. The question is, is it worth taking an already great shifting tranny apart to maybe make it even greater?
