I had my trans stitting for over a year it worked fine before I parked it. Now I've finally got my car running but when I drive it the trans won't shift into 3rd gear when I give it gas. It feels like I'm putting it in neutral after 2nd and just keeps reving with out pulling. When I don't give it too much gas the car keeps pulling in 2nd but too much gas it stops pulling and revs.

I have already added a corvette servo but nothing changed the problem is still there. The only other things I have done was added a 2600 stall convertor and bigger trans cooler could this be the problem? I filled it up with fluid so I know thats not the problem. Could I have the linkage on wrong? Please any ideas would help.

Might be all the setting let the seals in it shrink up letting fluid past the clutches and such so it is not building the proper pressure... Could be the TV cable just needs to be readjusted if you had that linkage disconnected at any point.
I have a similar problem.. sorta.. I have to let mine idle for about 5 minutes before the tranny will cooperate. if i try to move it before 5 minutes or so it pretty much just revs like there is nothing there. After it warms up though i works flawlessly.. so strange things happen with 700r4's.... I figure mine will be in rebuilding mode this winter.. I figure 200k miles on one of those things is plenty before it is rebuilt.

Whats the proper way to adjust the TV Cable? What does it suppose to look like when I shift it through the gears? I mean how will I know if its installed right so I will know if its the tranny an not the cable?

My 700r4 just gave out.. It will go into 1st gear.. revs to 3500 and then free rev to 4700 and slam into second gear.. does the same with third when it wants to shift into it and 4th is completely gone...
