TCI breakaway 2400 wont slide in
I have a brand new 242960 non lock up stall converter and it wont slide into the 700r4, The trans is a 27 spline and so is the converter. Is there something im doing wrong, or is it defective.

That's interesting, you should have a 30 spline input shaft, if the transmission is original.

sometimes they're hard to slide in. Hard to say exactly what it is over the internet. BTW, why did you get a non lockup 'verter?

I got a non lock up because i will hardly be driving this on the street. I tried today again and it did teh same thing, so do you think i should use a rubber hammer or something.

Keep spinning it clockwise (as you face the front of the trans.) and pushing. It wouldn't hurt to have the trans nose-up.
