Alright heres the deal Its a '91 Z28 with 700R4 trans I recently have experienced a power loss. I think i have traced it to a bad injector. Seemingly at the same time my trans started acting up. The prob with the trans is it does not down shift all the time. I can be doin about 40 mph hit WOT and nothing no down shift or only 4-3 but nothing more. Is it something with the comp. because of the bad injector or are these two problems seperarte coincidences? If it helps the upshifts seem to be fine and at the correct times it just doesnt want to downshift. please help.

 

K still havent figured out what is wrong with it did search after search can any one out there help?

 

Alright did the injector swap...eh it idles smoother but it didnt help the down shift problem at all. even on the freeway and only if i punch it hard it will down shift only from OD to 3rd and doesnt really give me a jolt like it use to it just slowly revs and accelerates. Now what I dont want to hear is that the tranny is goin but i know that is a possibility and i would hope that someone here could help me out with this because I am struggling to figure it out.
