Manual Starter

I just replaced my auto trans with a Manual and i guess you need a differant starter for that. Everyone around here wants like $120 bucks for that start. (that includes autozone) does anyone know where to get a cheap starter. because i'm getting really tired of pushing and than popped the clutch, but needless to say i haven't stalled it yet.

GM starters come in 2 styles. one for 153 tooth and one for 168 tooth. All you need is the correct starter for the size of the ring gear.
