Anyways, he says 3 and 4 were toast and alot of the stuff in there was installed half *** or reused when it shouldn't have been.

When he did the rebuild I had a Corvette torque converter installed as well (1900ish stall to my knowledge).

Well this thing pulls FREAKIN' HARD now, but damn, even at part throttle it shifts hard as hell. He says it should smooth out some in a week or so. What's odd is that the part throttle shift out of 1st is neck snapping. I told him I'll bring it back for tweaking if it doesn't smooth out enough.

Now it will smoke the tires all the way through 1st. My Pirellis probably hate me now.

 

Sounds like he put in a shift kit too then.

 

Well I told him to, but I've had one in the last 3 trannies and this one just shifts hard as hell out of 1st at part throttle.

 

Sounds like the 2nd accumulator was blocked. May want to ask if he did that, and if he did, request that it be made operational again. Will Need to put a heavier then stock spring in it.
