700R4 Shifting problem
I went to the track Sunday and was having some tranny issues. I manually shift through my grears but for some reason the tranny was shifting out of first on its own. Every other gear didnt shift until I did but first would shift out without me touching a thing. Any ideas on what I need to check?

Auto shifting out of 1st is a feature of the 700R4. One way around it is the TransGo reprogramming kit. Among other things one feature is the addition of a different valve is allow 1st gear to be held to any RPM.
