for the th350 swap, will i need a factory torque arm mount, or does the kit supply one? I do not have one, all i have is the torque, when i bought the car it came with no trans, and some one took the mount. I cannot find one any where for an 82? help!

 

Those B&M and Hurst kits provide a new torque arm mount you attach to the tailshaft since the TH350 never came with a torque arm mount. Both kits should also include brackets to convert a 700R4 crossmember to work with the TH350. If you dont have a crossmember anymore maybe you can get one from the junkyard. The crossmember from early 3rdgens that came with the 200R4 are reported to work with the TH350. If you cant find one of those in the junkyard then maybe look for a 700R4 crossmember and use those brackets.

Another option as far as the tailshaft is the 700R4 tailshaft conversion. A search should provide more information.
