T56 questions

I purchased a 91 rs from 91rs218 he has done the T56 swap I'm curious if a stock 92 camaro clutch master cylinder will work or do I have to get one for what ever year the T56 came out of? Also He told me the reverse lockput needs to be purchased because when the car is running for the life of me you can't get her in reverse it has to be turned off and then restarted once in reverse.

yes you need the t56 hydraulics. As far as the reverse goes, i haven't bypassed my solenoid in the trans and i have to "put" it into reverse when i need it. It takes a little shove but it will go.

anything from a 93 to 97 f-body should work. I don't see why they would be different. I got mine from www.gmpartsdirect.com for about $150.00 (the whole assembly) shipped and ready to go. I don't remember the part number though.

you can use the stock 84-92 master cylender...you HAVE to use the line and slave cylender from a 93-97 for it to work...breakware makes an alluminum one W/ a bleeder screw...the part # is 10380, and blieve it or not is is sold at autozone...also yes the lines have all the same ends...so you can put the braided steel line on the T-5's master cylender and it will work.
