when swapping a lt1/4l60e into a third gen that had a 305tbi and a 700r4 the shifter **** is a different type and location on the 4l60e then the 700r4. the 700 is a round threaded stub w/ a flat place on each side if i remember right.<on the passenger side of the tranny> now the 4l60e has a stud <round ball stud looks like.> on the drivers side. what do you do about this to make it work in a third gen? obiously they apear different where the third gen shifter cable wont fit on the 4th gen tranny. help please
