Just time, money and an attention to detail. The transgo kit is much more time consuming than the b&m kit. Mods to the worm track in the case, 4th accumulator block off, valve body mods and servo mods add to it. You will want to pick up a new seperator plate as well. The 87 and up use a 2 letter system to id them. Either buy a universal trans go plate and mod it accordingly, or drop the pan and look between the 1/2 accumulator and the aux valve body. The 2 digit code is there. Order an exact replacement from gm. Either one will work. I prefer the gm.
