Rear End Grease Question

Hey guys its been awhile since I have posted and I have a question. I am about to pull my 2.73 open out of my 90 Formula and stick in a SLP Posi (out of an 02 SS Camaro) and 3.23 gears. My question is what grease do I use regular, synthetic or blended and what weight range?

I used 75W90 axle oil. Perhaps posi additive, if it's a clutch style posi. Synthetic if you have the cash to shell out for it. Redline shock proof is supposed to be very good.

i run royal purple in everything, 75w90 Max Gear in my trans and rear. Goes into gear a lot better so it can't be bad stuff.

Unless your refering to another trans, the 75W-90 might be a tad thicker then the factory spec'd ATF

I might be wrong, but ATF (or some derivative thereof) is spec'd for just about all of the BW/Tremec units (T-5, T-56, etc.)

Mine's out of an '84. Not that it matters anyway, GM flip flopped on the fluids they used in them. Internally they're all identical.

Did you guys read this is not for a transmission? Its for a rear end. Depends on your budget, but I'm not sure if the Torsen units need limited slip additive.
