i was wondering what you all that have the t56 are using in the tranny. i am using the dexronIII like it says but it just dont feel smooth like it should be. is there something else i can use? and also i am thinking about going to the dyno and was wondering what gear on a t56 was 1to1? thanks sean

 

have heard about Synchromesh. were can i get that at?

 

any gm dealership carries the syncormesh stuff.

5w30 will work better then the dexron 3

 

i ended up putting royal purple sycromax in it.

 

I run RP synchomax in my T5. works great!

 

it seems to shift alittle better

 

Amsoil also has a Synchromesh synthetic out that I have been running in my daily S10...plan to run it in my T56 once I finish the swap.
