just question, whats needed to build up the five speeds i to handle 4-5 hundred hp and 4-5 hundred tq.

Lots of opinion in here regarding "building up" a 5-speed - a search will yeild plenty of those opinions.
Most common one (imo) (for those who argue that the 5-speed can take it) would be gear upgrades like the G-force kit and a good shifter like the pro-5.0....
