Just making sure... I hate automatics, lol.

From bottom to top: Big piece of servo, little piece of servo, spring, washer, e-clip, other doodad, cover, snap ring.

I lubed the parts as you can see, and all new teflons and seals. My question is that the servo is hard to rotate; I know it doesn't need to rotate, but still, what is the deal? Is everything cool?

I just did mine on Saturday and that is how it looked. I did'nt try to rotate mine but you should be able to push it in. I think , if you were able to get the cover back on you should be alright. Does it seem to operate normally? If so how do you like it? I put in a .471 boost valve along with a Superior W.O.T. 3-4 upshift throttle valve sleeve, so I am not sure how much effect on the firmness of my 1-2 shift the servo would have by itself.

This trans is out of the car at the moment. I'll let you know the firmness!

But yeah, the servo moves in and out easilly and the cover fits perfect.

Sandblasted the cover and left it bare... The rest is black. Cool accent.

The part that is often installed wrong is the 4th apply piston. That is the last, thin piston to go in, just before the cover. Sometimes they are installed backwards. The part number faces the outside of the trans.
