How and what to do to modify Rear Disk Backing Plate?

I have a Moser 9" and need to modify rear disk brake backing plate, So that I may retain the OEM rear brake assymbly. What and how exactly do I do this? The OEM Setup has the backing plate mounted on the axel tube. The 9" tube is way bigger than the 10 bolt it's mounted on. The tube ends are completely different. Anybody with step by step instructions would br greatly appreciated.

What flanges did you order the rear with? If you got the 12 bolt flanges, the 10 bolt backing plates should bolt right on.

What bolt pattern are the axles? You could always use Ford brakes, too.

Ford brakes are not an option. I have a complete BAER rear kit 2 piston caliper, 12" rotor, rev slotted, cross drilled, zinc washed, YADA YADA YADA!! Absolutely have to make the stock configuration work!

Moser must not ship instructions with their rears anymore.

See this post....https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...-9-w-disc.html

Good luck!

IROCZZ3 - They should make your diagram a Sticky. That would help a ton of people. Thanks so very much.
