I have an '86 Trans Am that I just put a rebuilt 350 into. When I bought the car, it had a Holley carb and a rebuilt 700r4 with a shift kit. It will not downshift when I step on the gas on the highway, and the car shifts very hard into 2nd, especially when the car is cold. The TV cable is attached to the carb with a "slide" and bolt, and I'm not sure exactly how to adjust it. Can anyone offer assistance? Thanks.
