Built tranny life?

Do built trannies last just as long as a stocker? Trying to decide if I need to get a t56 or just swap to a built auto. My car is a daily driver and it needs to last just 100k miles just like the stocker.

As long as the shop is competant, and you arent doing burnouts, power slides, and neutral drops all day long, a built tranny should last much longer than 100k miles. There are many upgrades performed to a built-up 700R4 to make it last longer and shift stronger for many years ahead.

Yes, I never do neutral drops, thats harder than **** on things isnt it? I was either gonna buy a tranny from probuilt or buy a kit and built it myself. Have the tools, just not the time right now.
