Car: 86' Trans am
Engine: 85 LG4-non cc carb(building a 350)
Transmission: Rebuilt 700R4,vette servo,2200stall
Axle/Gears: 2.73 Posi
700r4 problems
my 700r4 has bin acting weird and i was wondering if it needed to be rebuilt it works in reverse and drive but not in overdrive or 2 and 1 does anyone no if this is a comin problem or my trannys just needs a rebuild its got 107,000 miles on it

You may have answered your own question. Your profile states you need a rebuild on the trans. My guess wuold be that you are correct. If any doubt, consult a local professional.

thanks i went to some shop and thet said it needed to rebuilt but ive bin there before and they said my gauge lights were burnt out and i needed to order new 1s and it looked like they took cuters and cut wires so i conected them and they worked so i wanted to make sure so i dint get jiped
