One Major Bushing that hasnt been produced since 1992..
The bar that ties the rear end to the transmission tailshaft, Theres a Bushing on the transmission that, that bar hooks to however mine is Shot and i need one before i can drive my car anywhere.. I just got back from the chevy dealership, however i was there for something diffrent, and they noticed this bushing was Shot and the housing is broke, and they looked me up a new one, and Gm doesnt make one, so they told me to do some looking around.. well ive been to, Advanced auto, Vip, Autozone, Napa, 3 diffrent Motor Supply's.. Advanced was shocked that they didnt have this part, or couldnt even find one for that matter.. I went to Ebay, found nothing.. Junkyard has junk, so why bother buying something thats like the one i got.. well i dont know if anyone here has ran into this or not... But It would be Nice to know if i could get one... Thanks, Nick Hall

all i can find is the bushing...if you call them at the number on the website they might have the housing also. but i dont see it...so the junkyard may be your best bet. the stock housing uses that bushing.

You're looking for a torque arm bushing? They're available all over the place. How is the torque arm mount broken, exactly?

im curious how its broken too
thats kinda crazy,
the bushing and mount halves are common,
but they are different between certain tranny models
and for th350 and 400 swaps you dont need the bigger bracket that bolts to the tranny output shaft housing
just need the bushing and the smaller outer bracket
make sure you get the right one(s),

Theres two bolts, that slide though the busing bracket, and then theres another that is pressed in, well that one is busted off, the dealer said it was busted when they got to it.. But anyhow, I went to camaro Heaven, and got one, $10, the rubber is super stiff, so its gotta be pretty decent..
So why dont Advance and napa and stores like that have these bushings? heck Gm doesnt make them anymore.. i couldnt find one on ebay.. so i figured everyone was using the stock bushing..
man, am i happy its fixed now!!
Thank you very much for the Quik help! Thats pretty Cool how i didnt have to wait 3 days... and owe someone $$$$ for getting that taken care of. Thanks again, Nick Hall

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
You mean ones like this?
I don't know why nobody makes those.
They also don't make the 3-1110, which is for cars with the other type of torque arm, where the little "lips" face the other way.
