where does the tv cable hook to the tranny

where does the tv cable hook to the tranny
I have a 1984 Z28 I just installed a new motor and tranny and I was wondering where the tv cable hooks to the transmission??

Axle/Gears: '01 3.42 10 bolt
hooks in on the passenger side just behind the 2/4 servo housing. there should be a link that looks like a piece of wire sticking out of a hole that the cable hooks to.
