700r4 out 4l65e going in few questions

from what i have read and gather the stock drive shaft will work for my conversion. my stock trans from my 2003 silverado ss which is awd is going in my 88 firebird. now i know i have to change the tailhousing which isnt a biggie 6 bolts and its off and the 2wd tailhousing is on. my question is the front shaft from the drive shaft that goes into the trans will my stock one work or do i need to get one from an fbody with a 4l60e? probably a dumb question but just trying to gather what parts i need before the full on swap begins.. thanks for the help

i will tune everything with my efi live tuning software for ls1 motors. just as i do with the truck motor and trans. i am waiting right now for my harness to get finished up. and as far as the shift points u can tune them anywhere u want my truck shifts somewhere around 5800-5900... maybe i didnt say it in the first post but i am doing a full ls1 conversion in the car..
