need help with axle bearings- 9bolt

I just put a 9 bolt in my bird and I wanted to replace my axle seals because it looks like they are leaking

while I am at it I would like to replace the axle bearings but I heard that they are press on

I also do not know how to unbolt the axles so I would appreciate any advise on this

which bearings should I use?

Yes they are pressed on. Once you remove the caliper and rotor you should see how to unbolt them. Timken #SET-9

The axles are bolted in from the outside behind the rotor. You undo the four bolts and the axles pop out. The bearings are pressed on and they must be pressed off to replace the seal. good luck finding seals. Make sure they match the old ones before you press the bearings back on. Don't forget to press on the retainer ring or you may have a problem if the bearing gets too hot. I hope you never need parts for that rear. You will be HARD pressed to find any replacement anything.

Let me know if you need a spare set of axles for your nine. I have a pair and an extra cover laying around.
