eaton. You couldn't pay me to use an auburn posi. I've seen to many wear out prematurly, and they're not rebuildable by the home mechanic(they need to be sent back to auburn to have the friction surface remachined)

just curious jd5944, i know its off subject, but i always wanted to know what your rpms are at 60 mph with the 4.10s and having a 700r4, thats if your speedo is accurate after the swap. thought about getting them, but went 3.73s

eaton is a better posi, stronger gear type setup instead of auburn's clutch/cone style. The auburns don't like hard hooks on drag tires.

with the 3.73s, at 60 mph, im at 2000, not bad at all, i just mainly wanted to have something that had performance but still be streetable. a buddy has 4.10s in his camaro with a t56, and he is around 2000 at 60 mph. i thought well if he has 4.10s and hes at 2000 and he has two extra gears that i dont have, i could only imagine what my rpms would be. you are at 4.10s now, what gears did you come from.
