Axle/Gears: Really Tall ones. Probably 2.73's
sounds like a freewheeling stator in the torque converter. an easy way to check is a stall test. if the stall speeds way low, its probably that.
*** be SURE the engine has no problems either!!! lots of "trans" problems are often engine problems

When does the transmission stop downshifting, at what speed? If the TV cable is tight at WOT, then this is correct. If the transmission downshifts at other times 3-2, 2-1, and not a 4-3 downshift at high speeds, then this is ok.

its only at wot when i mash the paddle sometimes it downshifts hard and picks up speed fast other times it stays in i guess 3rd or 4th gear and takes awhile to clime rpms. Probuilt your just the guy i wanted to talk to im thinking about buying a shift kit from you next week.
