has anyone put in a detroit locker for there limited slip rear?

I have stock limited slip rear right now with 3.08 gears ( auto 700r4 tranny)
i want to put a detroit locker and 3:73 gears

i was looking for some feedback from someone who maybe has done this, thanks

and please do not reply if you do not have any personal experience doing this

 

I have, and I prefer it to the GM limited slip. Installation really was easy- that was the part I couldnt get over, and the performance is really good. the only draw back is a slight ratcheting noise, but its not as bad as some people try to tell you it is.

 

Lockers are hard on axles, and not as driver friendly as a good limited slip.
