finishing t5 swap0 speedometer leaks

the speedometer cable is leaking trans fuild, is there a 0 ring that goes in there or something?

where can i get one. can i use a regular o-ring? i hope i dont have to buy a new cable, just 4 that.

The ring comes with a new sleeve, but I'm unsure if it's sold separately. You won't have to purchase a new cable.

mine is leaking throw the inside the drive gear sleeve, not the outside

There's at least one (perhps two, sorry I don't remember) inside the sleeve itself which seals the driven gear. If that seal is worn or cut, you'll have a leak.

If the seals are good, it should't leak much, if at all. The question is why would you want to run the car without the cable attached?

thanks 4 the info. i was just trying to figure out, if the sleeve was bad or if the cable had a seal where it screws on, which it doesnt. i will just buy a new sleeve and that should fix my problem. thanks
