trying to built a rear end...(need help)
I'm trying to piece a rear together from the parts I have. I have a 2000 camaro 2.73 posi (low miles) axle complete. I want to go with 3.42 or 3.23 gears and use it in my 1991 RS. Can I take the posi unit from the 2000 camaro axle and put it into a thirdgen v-6 28 spline axle and then use a ring gear spacer to install the gears from the v-6 rear onto the 2000 camaro posi unit? I don't know anything about this stuff so please advise me.
thanks
thanks

So put your 2000 posi into the '91 rear, with the steeper gears, and a spacer, all going into the 3rd gen housing?
Yep, that'll work.
