All 700r4's work?
Will any 700r4 out of any model car or year work in a third gen camaro, as long as its 2wd. I hear you can't use the ones from the small v6 blazers or something along those lines, is this true. And are their certaine 700r4's better. Newer is better right?

The only ones that you can be sure will bolt right up without any trouble will be out of an F body. Transmissions from other 2WD applications (except Corvettes) will work if you swap the tailshaft housing for one from an F body that has the torque arm mount. The bellhousings are different for the V6 and V8, so you need to make sure you have the right one for your engine.
