auto or stick
ok so heres the deal i want a 6spd in my 91 z28 it came with a 305tpi and a 700r4 i kno that the prom is programed for an auto will that affect how the engine runs if i put in a 6spd? o and which would be better an auto or stick? im lookin for fast hard shifts that i can control but i also want streetability wut do i do any opinions?
Re: auto or stick
stick is my vote. much more fun. downside is stick handle less power unless you spend the big bucks on tremec or similar.
just buy a prom for t5 car and plug it into the ecm should be fine

Yes, and that comment was in response to this:
The original poster stated he was considering the T56 swap so I deduced that Synful was stating a 700R is stronger than a T56 in stock form and that he would have to step up to an aftermarket transmission like a TKO.
Maybe you should read the whole 7 posts of this thread before you interject your sarcasm.
