how do i get my axles out?

I'm taking my 10 bolt apart to freshen it up. How do I get the axles out so I can remove the carrier for new gears and bearings? I'm not seeing any c-clips. Its a posi with 4 little springs in it.

Thanks.

wait. Took another look and found them. also took the cross pin bolt out. Should the cross pin slide out easily. Mines moving, but only with persuasion (hammer).

Re: how do i get my axles out?

yep, put a little lube on it and it slid right out. Those little c-clips are a joke, I can see why people dont like them. There is a spacer on either side of the posi, like big washers. Do those need to be marked left and right or are they the same. They look the same.

How do I get the bearings off the posi?

yeah those are your spacers that set your backlash, as i recall make sure they go in just like they came out

I dont remeber if i had removed the bearings or not, I think they may be pressed on although im not sure, Get someone with a better memory then me lol :P
