I have a design for a bracket to be able to install a corvette automatic trans into a camaro body using th camaro tailshaft housing. If interested leave me a message.

 

so other than the length of the output shaft, the tail housing, and the fact that the corvette case doesn't have the mounting holes for the crossmember into a thridgen., what is different about the corvette tranny other than the name corvette? any 700r4 can be built to vette specs with a good rebuild kit.

don't get me wrong, i'm curious to see how you did it. the only way i can think of is to use the tail housing to mount the trans to the crossmember. this would put even more stress on the tail housing that it doesn't need.
