replacing my 700r4 (am i doing this right)
i pulled out my old one this morning and sat it beside the used one i got with around 70k miles on it.
I switched out tail housings and the cable
I got new seals for behind the toque converter and the one around spedo and the one at the end.
I have to use the spedo from this tranny I bought because its not a plastic one like my camaros but one with a magnet on it. (will this effect my MPH reading?) which current didnt work anyway.
i got new gaskets and fluid and filter (even though one friend argued with me to keep the fluid thats in the tranny) I really don't want to.
and i'm prolly going to flush my lines and cooler if i can

Where did you get your tranny?
Is it a performance tranny?
Just wondering.
