i went to replace the shift cable and its all hooked up and i noticed when i put it in park, the tranny knows park but the pawl doesn't set. and i also noticed that the shifter itself wont set in all the gear markings on the trim. when the tranny is in OD the shifter can move freely between OD and N. just wonderin how to fix the actual shifter so it says the right gear and how to fix the tranny so it will set in park?
