T5 4th gear

T5 4th gear
Heres my problem
It shifts real good going into 4th gear once in 4th it gets stuck and will only come out of 4th when I come to a complete stop. I did do a self rebuild.
Guess this sounds like I need to drop the tranny and tear it back apart??
I can bypass 4th gear and go directly into 5th and all is good.

Yes, it sounds like something is out of alignment. I had that happen a couple times on mine after going to the racetrack. One of the small dogs on the sliders broke and was getting hung up.
