Transmission: TH350
Axle/Gears: 9inch 3.50 gear
whts good posi?

Wht do you guys rec. for a good posi for built 10 bolt, the car makes over 450hp to the rear wheels it has a aburn in it now it is junk. any input would be helpful. thks

I've heard very good things about the Zexel-Torsen diff from the '98-02 LS1 F-bodies. They seem to work really well, they are quite strong (for a 7.5" diff), and since they are all mechanical internally there are no clutches to wear out. Thats the route I would go for a 7.5" rear end.

Honestly though, with anything making even 450hp at the crank, nevermind at the wheels, you are going to be changing broken rear ends every time you fill up the tank.

He is so serious he wants a POSI for that beast. He should get Chevrolets best the" Gov-lock Posi".

ya im serious just trying to see if their is a better posi than the aburn that i have. the street car runs 11.29@124 with 1.73 on DR wtih a slipping posi. the gov-lock is a POS.

If the posi you have now is working properly, you won't really gain anything by changing it. If you do change it, I still stand by my suggestion. Detroit Locker would also be a good choice, but I honestly can't remember if they make one for the 7.5" or the 9-bolt.
