Re: need some info

I am not 100% positive but I think someone posted that it will stick out 2 inches on either side of the car. Again I am not positive this is true hopefully someone else will see this and either confirm it or disagree.

Re: need some info

i herd that it was 2 inches wider aswell but i was hoping since the gta wheels have the offset dish in them already that it might not be as bad as like stock TA wheels or formula wheels just not sure wanna get more oppinions or some pics would be cool

Re: need some info

1. it is actually 1.5-2 inches PER side depending on the year and traction control option.

2. do a search as this was recently covered(within the last week) with pics included.

not to mention, there is a sticky about it in the FAQ board

Re: need some info

I just saw a formula 350 with a 4th gen posi rear in it and I have to say it looks kinda silly. The tires are noticably sticking out atleast 2 or more inches on either side. That is just my opinion some people might like it. The kid said he had no choice but he got a great deal on the rear.
----------
oh and he had the 16" tires on it with 245 50 16 tires and they did not hit the rear quarter during burnouts. I actually saw it at the dragway.

Re: need some info

tom, here is the thread i was referring to:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...questions.html

as i said there, the tires do not stick out past the fender lip. i think it gives more of a muscle car look.
