NEED HELP!!! NO DOWNSHIFT???
I have a 700r4 and I put a transgo shift kit in about a month ago. Ever since then my transmission will not downshift once it upshifts into any gear. I can manually do it, but I can be going 15 mpr and if it's allready in 2nd, it isn't going back into 1st. What did I do and how can I fix it???

Since there are many different brands and levels of shift kits, please list everything that you installed during the "upgrade".

You may have a problem with your Throttle Valve cable. Adjust this near the throttle body. There's details of the adjustment all over this board, just search for it. It could be causing all your problems because if it's not adjusted correctly, then it would alter your kickdown in the tranny. Add a shift kit, which modifies kickdown even more, and voila! No kickdown. Just my thoughts. Best of luck.
