REAR PROBLEMS

IF THE # OF BOLTS ON THE COVER MAKE IT A NINE OR TEN BOLT...MINE HAS 10 AND I WAS WONDERING IF IT WAS POSI OR NOT? IF IT IS I THINK IT IS GOING OUT AND I WONDERING WHAT IT INVOLVES TO REBUILD IT?

if it's not posi what do you think your problem is? if it is the posi to rebuild it all you have to do is replace the clutch disk in it.

To tell you the truth what makes a rearend a 9, 10, or 12 bolt is the bolts that hold the ring gear to the carrier. It is just by coincidence. The 9 bolt does have a 10 bolt cover though.
