Borg Warner 9 bolt Cover

Point me in the right direction.
I've got a 87 IROC that has a rear end problem. Transmission shop says I need a Borg Warner 9 Bolt Cover 3.45 Ratio Carrier Posi. He says he can't find one through his distributors. I need one bad. Let me know who I can order one through.

Thanks.
Beau

Re: Borg Warner 9 bolt Cover

If you just need the cover I would say that a junkyard would be the best place to look. I have not seen a place that sells the stock covers, but you can get one like this. http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/in...OD&ProdID=1674
This cover/girdle is a lot better than stock and will keep that diff in one piece a lot better than the stock one.

Re: Borg Warner 9 bolt Cover

If you need a 3 series carrier then you might be able to find one on here otherwise you will have to look on ebay or contact hawks or somebody else that parts out a lot of 3rd gens

Re: Borg Warner 9 bolt Cover

do you need a new rear end? i have a BW 9 bolt that was fine except for the slipping posi. Im not sure if you need the carrier, or the cover? if you need a cover, just get the one from TA performance, it will save you the pain of finding one.
